The upcoming student's sports meet promises an exhilarating four-day fest, featuring over 15 events that will showcase the athletic prowess of more than 1200 participants. Among them, a contingent of 25 spirited IIIT students will passionately compete, adding a dynamic edge to the competitions. This grand gathering not only serves as a platform for healthy competition but also as a catalyst for promoting the sports spirit among the student community. As the campus buzzes with excitement and anticipation, the sports meet is set to be a celebration of talent and sports spirit.

Not just this, Inter IIIT transcends athletic competitions, fostering community through Employee Meets. These gatherings unite faculty and staff, emphasizing active participation, teamwork, and friendly competition. This gathering enables faculty and staff from diverse IIITs to engage in collaborative discussions and share insights, creating a parallel camaraderie off the sports field. Like the unity seen in Inter IIIT, the Employee Meet emphasizes shared values and teamwork in shaping the collective success of IIIT institutions.

The IIITA campus is located at Jhalwa (Peepalgaon Road), which is on the outskirts of Allahabad. It is 10 km from the city center (Civil Lines), 7 km from the main railway station (Prayagraj Junction) and 5 km from the Prayagraj Airport. The Allahabad city is well connected by air, rail and road to near by metros. Railway services to this city from all the mega cities of the country are excellent and quite comfortable.

year marks the exciting transition to Inter-IIIT at IIIT Allahabad, where Team Asmita
takes the helm as the host. Inter-IIIT, a yearly tradition, continues to unite top
players and teams from different IIITs, transforming the sports field into a stage for
spirited competition and camaraderie. Last inter-IIIT held at IIITA in 2019 was a grand
success.
